Child progress Reports
Summative Assessments take place 3 times a year at the end of the trimester.
Progress Reports will be given out on:
November 23 and 24 (at conferences)
March 5
June 4
We use Teaching Strategies Gold assessment through the Creative Curriculum to assess our students. This is an ongoing assessment done throughout the year, in natural ways, as this is most appropriate for children of this age group. We are constantly assessing students as they go about their day. For example, I might assess their counting while they count blocks in a tower, or their letter knowledge as they point out letters they notice around the classroom. Social Emotional growth is also an important part of preschool education. We are constantly noting how children interact with one another, take turns, and grow in their independence.
