We are getting so close to the end! It's been a great week, full of adventure! On Monday when we got back to school, we discovered that our butterflies had emerged from their chrysalises! The kids loved watching them fly around in their habitat! On Tuesday, we let them go. We had great weather for it and the kids loved seeing them fly away. We also had our lunch on the lawn! Thank you to all of you that took time out of your busy schedules to join us! The kids were so excited and had a great time! Yesterday we had more fun with the Cronin dance party! We went out by the older kids' playground to dance and that was also tons of fun!
We have 3 school days left, and these will also be packed with important things!
*Tuesday is our Field Day. Students should wear orange to help stand out as part of preschool, as the whole school will be doing Field Day. We are hoping to be outside for lots of the day, and if we are, students should dress for the weather, and also have things like sunscreen already applied, hats, and sunglasses, as needed. There is a chance that we will have to be inside instead, if it's either too hot, or if it rains. In that case, the sun won't be an issue, but you should still plan for an active day. Field day is essentially a day of exercise and activity. Kids should wear comfortable gym shoes, comfortable clothing, and bring a water bottle.
*Wednesday at 2:00 is our Kindergarten promotion parade. It will start indoors at that time, and you will see children outside, closer to 2:20.
- The ‘parade’ will travel following the same path as we used at Halloween
Paraders Exit Door 3- Parade will walk around back of building on the blacktop
- Paraders Enter Door 16
*I also want you all to know that I have loved working together with you and your children this year. Your children will always be special to me. Please know that I will always welcome seeing them and hearing from you. Feel free to reach out to me at any time. I check my email over summer as well, and am always happy to help whenever I can, so feel free to keep in touch! I will also be at Troy Hofer next year, as that is where the Full Day Preschool program is moving. Regardless, I do hope families will keep in touch. I know this class is ready, and that you all will have a great Kindergarten year!
