What a privilege it's been to work with you and your children this year! It's been a fantastic year! It was all of our first year in our Hofer Home, and I am so grateful for all of your partnership throughout this year! You volunteered, came to Family Engagement Fridays, attended Hofer school events, and partnered with me to show the kids how much you value their education. Thank you! As we prepare for our final week of school together, it's bittersweet, as we all look forward to a long break and spreading our wings to fly, but also savor these last days all together in the magic that is our school home.
We have an exciting week ahead! On Friday we made a graph with our pictures showing where we will all go to kindergarten. This helps kids get ready for their next steps and prepare for possibly going to a new school, with new friends, and maybe some old friends. This upcoming week we will continue to talk about kindergarten and prepare for next steps. We'll read books about kindergarten as well. On Thursday we will visit a kindergarten classroom here at Hofer. We'll read a story together and see what the kindergarten classroom looks like- how it's similar to ours, and how it's different too.
This Wednesday is Field Day!

If anything comes up and you need support, I am here for that too. I wish you all a wonderful summer, and the best of luck next year in kindergarten!
