The kids are continuing to have a great time studying pets! We made some fun 3D pets from clay. We explored pet collars and used our 5 senses to describe them- well, ok, only 4 senses. I am noticing kids becoming curious about things, asking more questions, and noticing things. It's great to see! We focused on characteristics of pets and talked about details like whiskers on a cat. We also talked about what animals make safe pets.
Next week is Parent-Teacher conferences! I am looking forward to meeting with all of you! Thank you for signing up for a time! Please take a few minutes to look over your child's report card this weekend. It will help you be ready for the conference. We will celebrate your child's success and growth, and look toward their next steps. I'm excited to collaborate with you! If you need to reschedule your time, please let me know ASAP. Additionally, all report cards have a post-it note reminding you of the day and time. I also sent a calendar invitation through email that has the time. You should also have a notification on Parent Square with the time. Please be sure to be on time, so we can use our time effectively.
Enjoy the long week home with your family. School will resume Monday, November 27.
